Owner, Richard “Hillbilly” Kralicek has been doing taxidermy as a hobby for more than 20 years, and then several years ago by the urging of many friends and acquaintances, he decided to start a taxidermy business. To perfect and fine-tune his skills, he took additional classes and upgraded his equipment to provide high quality work. Over the many years of doing taxidermy, he has completed projects of all types including head/shoulder mounts and full body mounts. He particularly likes to customize sceneries that will make the mounts look even more life-like. Richard has the reputation of being honest and quite the perfectionist.
Hunting, fishing and the outdoors are a major part of his life. Richard's son, Preston, has followed in his steps and also enjoys the art of taxidermy. The two of them continue to hunt every possible day and manage to sneak off on a couple of bigger out-of-state/country hunts each year. They continue to add trophies to the already crowded walls, but of course they will always manage to find more space. When you come by to visit they always like to share their hunting and fishing stories.
